As the electric cars and motorcycles are gaining their popularity worldwide, the demand for lithium battery has soared. However, how we can properly recycle and reuse waste lithium battery with limited resources available around the globe has become a major lesson. The talk will demonstrate battery recycling processes and methods at the lithium battery recycling management plants of the French parent company of Onyx Ta-Ho, Veolia Environment. Besides, we engage partners specializing in hydrometallurgy to refine precious metals, regenerating the raw materials required for a lithium battery from waste lithium batteries. Lastly, we will touch on the future prospects of Onyx TaHo on lithium batter recycling. We look forward to seeing collaboration among all companies, which will bring us closer to the goal of circular economy and urban mining together.
